A few years ago, Amazing Studios partnered with the Town of Knightdale to produce a powerful police recruitment video—one that highlighted the vital role officers play in public safety, connection, and community trust. Since then, the department has continued to grow, and so has their story.
When it came time to refresh their recruitment content, the Knightdale Police Department wanted more than a retread—they wanted a transformation. This time, the goal was to create something bold, refined, and rooted in values. Something that could reach the right candidates with clarity, heart, and momentum.

The Creative Approach: Real Moments, Elevated Storytelling
We began by spending time on the ground—filming officers on patrol, interacting with citizens, and showing the day-to-day rhythms of law enforcement in a town that values both integrity and inclusion.
Through honest, grounded footage, we captured the heart of the work. You see their faces. You feel their focus. And for potential recruits, you’re invited to imagine yourself stepping into those shoes.
To elevate the storytelling, we paired the footage with high-energy editing and sleek, on-brand motion graphics drawn from the town’s visual identity. The result? A video experience that balances adrenaline with authenticity.

This recruitment campaign included two primary series:

We took a more approachable tone here—highlighting values like service, accountability, and community connection. These edits are designed to resonate with candidates who are thoughtful, driven, and ready to lead by example.

Delivery Strategy: Built for Versatility
To support Knightdale’s hiring goals, we delivered each video in two formats:
- With QR Code – For easy mobile-driven applications (flyers, posters, digital ads)
- Without QR Code – For evergreen use in presentations, social, and internal training
This dual-delivery approach removed friction for applicants and gave the department tools they could use across multiple channels.
