Nonprofit Video Production for BIG Equity Fund
The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro created the BIG Equity Fund to invest in the Black community across the city. To help share this story, they partnered with us on a nonprofit video production that highlights the fund’s impact and goals.
A Story About Equity and Empowerment
The BIG (Black Investments in Greensboro) Equity Fund focuses on health, education, technology, and small business. Its goal is to address disparities in these areas and uplift Black-owned businesses. One key effort includes providing digital marketing training and financial support to local entrepreneurs.
To bring this mission to life on screen, we filmed in key locations across Greensboro. We captured iconic landmarks, vibrant neighborhoods, and scenes of everyday life. These visuals added depth and authenticity to the story.
We also filmed interviews with donors and committee members. Their voices added credibility and helped illustrate the fund’s importance in a personal way.
Visually Connecting Mission and Impact
Each scene tied back to the fund’s four focus areas. From health and education to business and broadband, the video showed how BIG is creating change.
We used aerial footage to showcase the city’s geography and economic ecosystem. Then, we paired that with local b-roll, reinforcing the connection between the fund’s mission and the real people it serves.
Building a Stronger Greensboro—Together
This video isn’t just about storytelling. It’s about showing what’s possible when a community invests in its future. The Foundation’s work is leveling the playing field for future generations of Black business owners and families.
