After losing their mother to cancer, Torry and Terrence Holt made a commitment to help children who have a parent with cancer and established the Holt Brothers Foundation in her honor. Wanting to tell their story well, we captured their annual Flag Football Fundraising Tournament as well as Camp Kesem and KidsCan! programs.
After a full year of getting to know the people behind the Holt Foundation, we’ve seen the direct impact of their events and initiatives, not only on the lives of children and families battling cancer, but on our community as well. This journey culminated in our piece, Ojetta, in honor of their mother. We are proud to have been able to share the importance and vision of the Holt Foundation’s mission and honor Ojetta V. Holt-Shoffner’s memory.
