Morrisville Carpenter Road

Town of Morrisville
With quite a bit of information to communicate to their residents, the town of Morrisville needed to share their efforts to improve road construction in their town. Together, we decided on a humorous and fun live-action piece to make the information as memorable as possible.

The Town of Morrisville wanted to update their residents on their efforts to improve transportation around their community. This being an ongoing topic in Morrisville, they wanted to address the pain points of their community members head on. The live action video we created was specific to Morrisville Carpenter Road – a hub for traffic in the area. With residents concerned about how road construction would affect their morning commutes and their ability to get around quickly, it was necessary that the video contained a little levity.

We accomplished this by using a friendly personable voice of a town resident who related directly to those struggles. Stuck in traffic herself, she begins to explain all the work the town is doing to clear up traffic issues as quickly as possible.

Complete with quick and humorous cutaways to construction equipment, road maps, and planning meetings, this video is chock full of information. Even so, it feels like the farthest thing from a town hall meeting or a dry PSA. (Not that all PSA’s must be dry – we try to make those captivating too-  like this one we did for Wake County. )

In the end, the video for Morrisville Carpenter Road accomplished its purpose, making town updates more engaging and interesting to watch. This approach is tried and true for us. We love taking a lot of information that some may consider ‘boring’ and make it worth watching!
