Jump Back In

Visit Raleigh
Collaborating with marketing agency Avenir Bold, Amazing Studios helped bring to life the vision for Visit Raleigh’s ‘Jump Back In’ campaign. This campaign is designed to promote tourism to the city and show that it’s vibrant, bustling, and ready for post-pandemic enjoyment.

Travel Commercial Video for Visit Raleigh

There’s something especially rewarding about filming in your own backyard. When Avenir Bold asked us to collaborate on a travel commercial video for their client Visit Raleigh, we jumped at the chance to showcase the city we call home. Their “Jump Back In” campaign was designed to reenergize tourism and remind travelers why Raleigh should be their next weekend escape.

With a fast turnaround and a partially developed creative direction, our team dove straight into pre-production. We handled casting, coordinated permits, and scouted a wide range of local gems—from LaFarm Bakery and Prime Barbecue to Raleigh Denim Workshop and The Willard rooftop bar. Each stop added to the vibrant mosaic of what Raleigh has to offer.

Capturing Authentic Moments With POV Cinematography

To make the viewer feel part of the experience, we leaned into a Point-of-View (POV) style of filming. This meant choosing gear that allowed for an immersive visual experience. Our go-to? Anamorphic lenses. These gave the footage a natural, wide look that helped simulate what it feels like to be walking through Raleigh’s downtown, grabbing drinks with friends, or admiring skyline views from a rooftop.

The cast brought real chemistry—essential for making the POV format feel authentic. Over the course of three tightly scheduled shoot days, they bonded like true friends on a long weekend trip. That connection came through in every shot, making the viewer feel like they were part of the group.

Strategic Planning, Inclusive Production

Due to the number of locations and the short production timeline, pre-production had to be airtight. We kept logistics streamlined while remaining flexible—an approach that helped us stay ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality.

We also worked with People First Tourism, an organization focused on creating meaningful, cultural connections through local experiences. Their presence enriched the storyline and added depth to the sense of place we aimed to capture.

Additionally, we created a version of the spot with audio description for visually impaired viewers, ensuring the campaign met 508 compliance standards and was accessible to all audiences.

Final Deliverables and Impact

We delivered multiple versions of the final spot, including 30-second and 15-second edits ideal for social and broadcast. All of them preserved the same energy and visual identity of the original cut.
