Triangle Heart Ball | Survivor Stories

The American Heart Association
Through personal interviews and impactful visuals, we created a series of powerful survivor stories to encourage people to get involved with the American Heart Association’s lifesaving mission.

The Triangle Heart Ball is an event that celebrates those who embody and help equip the American Heart Association to fulfill its mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Each year they highlight the story of a cardiac survivor who got another chance at life thanks to the work of the AHA.

For the past several years, we have had the pleasure of capture the stories of real people who have been positively affected by the work of the American Heart Association through videos we create for their annual Heart Ball. Stories like this are deeply personal and we were honored to be able to share and celebrate each story as an inspiration to our team and the entire community.

Austin’s Story

The American Heart Association focused their attention on stroke awareness at this year’s event. Quite young to be the face of a stroke, Austin exhibits so much resilience and fight in his attitude as we captured his story.‍

Triangle Go Red for Women

The American Heart Association of the Triangle supports the Go Red for Women movement in the Triangle by providing a platform for women and their families to lead healthier lives. We had the honor to meet three local families and hear their powerful stories of fighting cardiovascular disease.

The Spivey Family’s Story

Through the American Heart Association advocacy work, CPR has been added as a requirement in Triangle area schools. This life-saving program has helped save many lives, and we had the opportunity to capture the Spivey family’s impactful story.

Brett’s Story

Brett’s story of surviving multiple heart attacks is a powerful example of the life saving second chances that come from awareness of heart attack symptoms.
