Cinematic Campaign, Raleigh Style
We teamed up with our friends at Avenir Bold once again for another round of creative magic to produce Visit Raleigh video campaign. Building on the success of a previous campaign, we returned to familiar characters, familiar perspective shots—and a new twist on the story.
This time, we channeled the iconic fast-cut, comedic style of Shaun of the Dead, bringing big personality, a sense of spontaneity, and clever editing to showcase all that Raleigh has to offer.
A Campaign with Chemistry
One of the biggest strengths of this campaign was the cast. Several actors had worked together on prior Visit Raleigh projects, creating natural chemistry that elevated every scene. When you’ve got a real friend group vibe on camera, it shows.
We kicked off with a couch-based brainstorm and a Facetime call from a relative, before cutting to a series of hilarious montages where the group’s travel plans evolve—again and again—with each idea getting bigger, funnier, and more Raleigh.
Perspective That Pulls You In
To keep the Visit Raleigh video campaign cohesive, we reused the same POV-style camera work featured in the original campaign. That meant stepping into the action—literally. One scene even took us go-karting to capture the shot (yes, it was a blast).
Each version of the spot is fast-paced, lighthearted, and infused with the excitement of group travel. From restaurants to holidays to year-round fun, the series gives potential visitors an insider’s look at what Raleigh has to offer.

We produced multiple versions of the campaign to maximize versatility.In some cases, we even blended in holiday footage from the previous campaign, creating continuity while extending the value of the existing assets.
