The Jobs are Out There

North Carolina Business Committee for Education (NCBCE)
This stop-motion animation, voiced by NC Governor Roy Cooper creatively communicates the importance of work-based learning to ensure that North Carolina has the workforce needed for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

The North Carolina Business Committee for Education (NCBCE) is a business-led, education non-profit that operates out of the Office of the Governor. Since 1983, they have provided a critical link between North Carolina business leaders and the state’s education decision-makers, helping to create connections between the education curriculum and the overall work readiness of citizens across the state.

Like so many initiatives, the successful growth of our workforce begins in the classroom.

Education plays such a huge role in ensuring students grow up into productive members of society – for the benefit of themselves and others.

The style of this animation is reminiscent of school activities like arts, crafts, and paper mache all while walking through the different settings from classrooms to different career workspaces.

Governor Cooper’s delivering the voice-over only seemed appropriate with how much time and effort his administration has dedicated to supporting and funding education.
